Why we exist
Most reusable dishcloths are an afterthought. We start with the drawing.
Artwork you'd frame
Every cloth begins as an original illustration — native flora and fauna, coastlines, folk motifs. No stock clip-art, no reprinted classics. Small, considered collections rather than an endless catalogue.
Print that holds
A dense cellulose-and-cotton cloth and water-based pigment, colour driven into the fibre. It survives the dishwasher, the washing machine and the boil — and comes back looking like day one.
Compostable, honestly
No plastic microfibres, no vague "eco" hand-waving. A cloth that breaks down in home compost — and claims we're prepared to certify, not just print on the label.

The craft
The difference is in the cloth — and the print.
Anyone can drop-ship a printed sponge. We chose the harder path.
- The genuine article. Built to the 1949 Swedish original — pressed cellulose and cotton that dries stiff, wipes streak-free, and holds sixteen times its weight in water.
- Water-based pigment, not sublimation. The right chemistry for cellulose — art that stays sharp through hundreds of washes instead of fading in weeks.
- Built to be used hard. Dishwasher top-rack, washing machine, or a two-minute boil to sanitise. It keeps going for six to twelve months.

Tea towels have carried our native flora and fauna for decades. The humble dishcloth never got the same love — until now. We commission original artwork from Australian illustrators and, where the subject calls for it, licensed First Nations artists through the Indigenous Art Code, with the artist named and paid on every cloth.
The result is a small, rotating library of designs you won't find on a supermarket shelf — the banksia in botanical detail, the quokka mid-grin, the reef in full colour.
